‘Yeye’s current contract at Naturena comes to an end at the end of the current season, meaning he will be able to negotiate a pre-contract elsewhere in January.
The Amakhosi management have already tied the likes of Tsepo Masilela, Bernard Parker and Siboniso Gaxa down to longer deals while the lack of movement surrounding the veteran midfielder’s future indicated that Chiefs could be looking to let go of him at the end of his contract.
However the latest news reaching the Siya desk indicates otherwise, as the club are understood to be in the process of offering Yeye a new one-year deal which includes a one-year option.
If Letsholonyane does agree to sign on the dotted line and Chiefs end up using their one-year option, he will stay at the club until the end of the 2017/18 season and complete a decade of playing for the Glamour Boys.
