What has gone wrong down Lamont way?
Is trouble brewing in Lamontville, the home of Abafana bes’thende in the south of Durban, the holiday capital city of South Africa?
We asking this question because, following their implosion against Mamelodi Sundowns in the MTN second leg semi-final 3-0 loss in Pretoria, we started hearing sweet gossip whispered in our eager ears.
One gossip monger actually whispered that head coach Lehlohonolo Seema and his deputy Mabhuti Khenyeza might not be seeing eye-to-eye, so much that they apparently do not even agree on who should be in the starting eleven and who should be on the bench, which is not helping the dire situation at all.
It is imperative that coaches should be reading from the same page, but when the situation goes pear-shaped, it could adversely affect the performance of the entire team as we witnessed last week when they were hammered in Atteridgeville.
